Upgrading to a newer version today folks...

Recommended Posts

hmmm...well mine works fine now...srry bro. If you don't shut down all IE window after you make the change it won't work. I know that for sure.

"Allow Programatic Clipboard Access."

Enable it.

ONLY IT. Not the other 2 choices.

Nope still a no go.....

OK Garimpo, I think this is the problem. If this don't work I don't have anymore solutions.

When you go to tools, internet options, security, you will see internet, intranet, trusted sites, and restricted sites.

Click internet one time and then custom level.

Scroll all the way down until you see

"Allow Programatic Clipboard Access."

Is it enabled? If not enable it.

Do the same procedure with trusted sites.

Then click apply and shut down IE and restart and see if copy and paste works.

Crosses fingers....

Rimshot,

Thanks! That last procedure seemed to fix the problem that I was experiencing, at least within the forum.

When I went back through your steps I started with the "disabling the alert"....then

Next time your here in town the beers on me but until then a big thanks....

PS: now affraid to mess with Javascript it might mess things up again...

Don,

I think it's time for you to graduate to Foxfire or Google Chrome.

The IP Board techs are telling that there's in nothing they can do about the issue with IE.

You can still keep IE9 and just use one of the others for here.

installing Google Chrome....hope that's the easiest one to deal with...

Don,

Use the link/s I posted in the Moderating section, don't click on the "Popup ads", they may not be from Google and could take you to a site with something bad for your computer.

Yup good on ya Don, I gave up on IE many moons ago and do not even have it installed on any or our PCs anymore. Just too much of a pain in the butt dealing with their compatibility issues....

Don, I use Firefox...It is not intrusive like Google Chrome and doesn't copy personal info ... Just a suggestion ... I hear everyone about IE (any number) ... I don't know why they keep putting out a system that sucks so bad ... Got rid of it on all my computers ... Cheers, Unc
