Well Crap

Recommended Posts

It rained on my parade every day I was out east dog shooting. I did manage to get some shooting the day I got there and the morning I left. It rained and the wind blew and the land in the dog towns was a wet muddy gumbo, not fun to drive in or walk in. Still managed to pop about 75 dogs total, the 223 was shooting good with 5 missed shots total. (long shots) Only pic I took is of the setup I was using and it was a slick gooey mess getting out of this field.

This area was back in eastern MT where I grew up so I did get to see a lot of old friends I hadn't seen in 20+ years. Oh well maybe again next year.

I miss shooting "dogs" in South Dakota when I lived there.

A man had some lad with about 150 acres in P dogs. He told me I could hunt anything in season if I would shoot dogs on the off season.

Man , I miss that.
