bsumbdy
Found this on a road cut on bedrock. At first I thought it was a lead slu, but it is too light. So I am Hoping Native silver. Was found in area near Bradshaws. Any Ideas? If it is silver it will be my first 'free range' find. I have found nuggets in my hole and tailing piles. Any ideas? Thanks Chris
Goldfinger
Lead and silver weigh about the same. Looks like it was melted somewhat. If it's real light, maybe aluminum?Steve
adam
It sounds like campfire aluminum.
Roundhouseman
What is its weight? Compare it to a silver dime as it looks close in size. I've found chunks like that before and passed them as aluminum because I found them in areas where old miners worked.

DesertNuggets
Gold/Silver test kits are like $10 on eBay. Always good to have.
