beaudurkee
Guys, can someone confirm what I have here. I found these targets in the tailing piles of three different mines, several miles apart, out at Dale. They are very strong targets, like copper bullet. The tiny piece in the pic was four inches deep and lit up my GB2 like I ran over a tin can. They are not the same as the iron ore that is all over the area, or any other hot rocks I have run over. If I had to guess, I would say they are small peices of rusty metal. If I had found them anywhere else, I would just throw them in the junk bucket. But, the fact that they came out of some remote mine tailing piles and some were found after taking several feet of material off the top. Not to mention the different locations. They are highly magnetic. If its a natural mineral, I would think there would be more of it in the tailings. I broke one piece open. You can see the very silver metalic interior. It's very grainy. They have a black and rusty crust on the outside.
