AZ4AU
I took the detector out for a walk today and when I turned it on this is what the screen looked like, turned it off and back on and it was normal .
Guest goldstudmuffin
HI Mike,That's scary!!! Remember the time we were in Montana and my 4000 took a dump after traveling 1200 miles? What a nightmare, maybe you can just carry a mirror around to look at the screen. Did you find any goodies while you were on your walk today? Au Seeker
I think you should email that picture to Minelab to get their take on what cause it to happen!!I would think that this isn't the first time this has happened, if it is the first rime to Minelab's knowledge I would think they would be very interested in what may have caused it. Rimshot
Mike,I noticed a few post on another message board. This problem has also occurred on a ML 4500 and an Explorer as well. But seems to go away after shut down and restart. Kinda weird. My guess is something in the logic is not right and the firmware chip needs to be reflashed to correct it. But that's just my 2 cents worth...Rim Edited January 4, 2013 by Rimshot
frank c
I figured out what the problem is.//////its because these machines are manufactured downunder. And occasionally they update showing the display backwards.Makes sense to me :nutty:
AZ4AU
Hello Rim, I could try to flash it and see if that works but it never worked on the women for me so I'm not going to hold my breath.Frank, Kind of like the reverse shitter swirl down under , hmmmmmm .
