Au Seeker
This maybe some hope for getting dredging back in California. One good thing about this trial is that the location of the trial is being held in Plumas County which has a history of supporting mining, I just hope the Judge has the same mindset!!I know that some will see that this will never happen and dredging will never come back for California, but I can hope and as of now it seems to be the only thing close to being able to accomplish what nothing else has, as for me, I'll praying and fingers are cross that this case will overturn what the State of California has taken away from legal miners!!Original complainthttp://www.goldgold....int-8-30-12.pdfDefendant's Demurrer attempthttp://www.goldgold....mo-10-30-12.pdfState of California response to Demurrer attempthttp://www.goldgold....to-demurrer.pdfDefendant's Response to California's responsehttp://www.goldgold....rt-Demurrer.pdf
Steel Pan
I get lost in all the "legaleze" involved ( I wish they would speak English ), but I did notice a glimmer of hope. 12 pages just to say maybe? Just wish they would quit dancing around the bush and make a final decision.

SP, Basically what this case is about, is that the Judge will have to rule if the Federal Mining Laws supersede State law and if he does decide that Federal Law supersede State law then dredging is back and possibly without any permits at all!!! elder-miner
SP,and possibly without any permits at all!!! CA has the right to "regulate" suction dredging. Hoser John
Just BS to pick pockets for scum sucking lawyers as always. 3 bills passed and 4 waterboard permits negate this completely as just the PLOP / 69 pocketpickn' as usual--the dead carcass of kalif dredgers bones still be picked. Feds promulgation comn' in january from EPA . Enviro.fishermen/karuk/injun coalition still has over $1.85 million and over a dozen stays, injunctions, and legalize already prepared to file at a moments notice AND a couple of 100 years of appeals and on and on and on. ANY RIGHT LOST---IS 10,000 TIMES HARDER TO REAQUIRE-PRESERVE AND BE HAPPY-SEND CASH TO CARPETBAGGERS AND PERISH-learn from kalif stupid laziness-John Edited December 17, 2012 by Hoser John
