Dave i'm confused. So the last 2 pics are Alaska?

I'll never forget out trip up Pikes Peak. My moms nose started bleeding and we had to come down. But we did make it as high as the road would take you. Absolutely a must see.

Yep... bottom 2 are.

Pikes peak is an must see. Road takes you all the way to the summit....where there is a gift shop full of stuffed crap from china :89:

And an area with gold nugget potential. Thanks for the photos. Makes me itching for a trip out there.

Steve

There is a little gold there...just have to look in the right spot :Diggin_a_hole:

Dave, you outta seriously think about enlarging and framing these photo's, they are freekin frame worthy for sure...well except for that one with the ugly guy on the snowmobile!! :25r30wi:

Man snowmobiles have come a long way since I bought a suzuki 440 fury back in 83, I used to get that damm thing stuck in powder all the time but it was soooo much fun!! After a good long ride your face is completely numb then you forget and walk into a store and try to talk...it's hilarious!

Last time I was in Arizona, I spent some time with an old hippee living in the Bradshaws. Used to own a Tandy leather franchise until he got tired of the rat race and move to Arizona. Spent all of his time using a dredge as he didn't even have a metal detector. Showed me some spots where he was finding some good gold and one of those areas was at Copper Basin. He had permission from Phelps Dodge at the time to dredge the main creek down from the caretakers cabin and was getting some really nice feather gold (like Bill found recently) until a dispute arose with another party. Then Phelps Dodge simply barred everyone from dredgiing-period... . A buddy of mine also found a gold nugget in that same area with a metal detector. Ugly as hell since it contained a lot of copper but still had quite a bit of gold in it. I think that whole area has a lot of potential for the nuggetshooter if only they had permission from Phelps Dodge.

One of the bigger clubs has a few claims in the area, so there is some area to poke around in. The black sands are so thick, the magnet on my pick looks like is got dreadlocks! Did manage to pull out a copper nugget....

Not sure what I'm seeing in that last picture, looks to be some kind of animal in the bush at the center bottom, a bear taking a dump?

Close....Black Labrador :4chsmu1:

That rascal has the uncanny ability to arrive at just the right moment... :inocent:

Did I get the "taking a dump" part right??

Catching a lady in a compromising position is one thing as blackmail in the baby book!
