One way to look at it; but personnally, would rather see it at $400. My point being, easier access to property and probably more important, it would possibly mean the dollar would be worth more. Just my .02 worth.

Shep, you're right. An ounce of gold remains an ounce of gold, what differs is the number of dollars required to purchase that ounce of gold. When the dollar is strong, due to economic and other reasons, fewer dollars will be required to buy that gold. When the dollar is weak, it takes a lot more dollars to buy that same amount of gold. Thus, expensive gold prices reflect perilous times.
