Anyone else using the Coiltek Blitz?

Bill:

Thats the exact one I use on my 5000. Its done real good for me picking up some sub grammers (.3-.4) at 4 inches down. Course thats also going to depend on the mineralization of the ground your working in...ect. ect....

Nice and light.

I also use the 6 inch mono...its really sensitive on small stuff.

Howdy Tom,

I just started using this could a week ago and boy am I ever impressed so far! It runs so smooth it is hard to believe and hardly any weight at all. I too noticed the depth of small targets and did manage a .5 gram bit, but was also digging deep targets where I didn't figure there were any left just too bad they were trash. Perhaps this weekend will be different.

Good luck to you out there! I agree..its very light.

I switched over to my stock ML 12 x 16 mono on to do some patch hunting and

it felt like I put a brick on the end of the shaft!

Have to figure out some training wheels for it :)

No! I wont use a hip stick!!!

It would be admitting im old and feble :P

Ahhh...eventually I will probably get one.

I use the coiltek 98% of the time and the bigger one on special occasions.

I can swing the coiltek all day with no problem. Its light.

I'm with you Fred....those youngen's might not need the HipStick now but joints are like the joints on a pick-up....

more the load the quicker they wear out....only problem is youngsters don't believe it until their about 60 and

then they get the HipStick ....after surgery.....two items I don't get out of the PU wihtout....leg guards and HS...
