Is there a site

Hi Allen. That is exactly what we need to know. I believe if you know the name of the bill you can find the voting records. Google should lead you right to it. I posted the names of all the US Congress & House of Representative members under the state headings.

Wow. There's a wealth of information at that site weaver hillbille. It looks like everything is there -- and then some. I'm learning a lot from this and my head is spinning. Things like:

Status: This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Explanation: Introduced bills and resolutions first go to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate. The majority of bills and resolutions never make it out of committee.

So then you get to looking at who is on the committees and subcommittees, and who sponsored and cosponsored the bills.

Does anyone have experience in researching this mountain of information? The biggest problem I see is knowing what bills are anti mining or limit public access but I'm beginning to get the idea that we could almost go by the bills sponsors and cosponsors and who sits on the committees.
