This chart for metallic minerals may help with IDing your specimen, you can click on the mineral name after choosing a possible mineral which will take to the page for that mineral with a lot of info and pictures to help decide if it is the correct mineral.

There are only about 6 that fit your streak and hardness.

If it's not metallic, here the list of charts for other types of minerals.

Mihail-

I wonder if that could be sphalerite? It's a zinc mineral. I used to have a really nice specimen that came from the Elmwood mine in Tennessee and it looked something like that you have. It's hard to judge the color of that specimen since they can all show up differently on the moniters. What is the actual color of that specimen and does it give a brown streak or a brownish red streak? That can make all the difference in the world.

I'm not a geologist and I'm not always right. :twocents: Just a plain old rockhound.. I try and do my best with the pictures shown and whatever details are given. Some of these rocks are unrecognizable to me... Reno Chris has more knowledge then I ever will and wish he could help on those...

Your first 2 rock photos look a lot like stones which got shattered in a volcanic blast, then filled in with some kind of cryptocrystalline quartz.

Mihail-

Not sure about the first one but the shape of the crystal on the second photo makes me think its aquamarine. Can do the simple vinegar test to check for calcite. Calcite will slowly start to bubble upon contact. Aquamarine will not. Let me know.

Nice pyrite sun.... :thumbsupanim

I`ve used vinegar and .... no bubbles; so, I think is aquamarine. Thanks again.

Today I`ve found this rock, limestone, what suppose to be the grey part? Look like a bone, but I don`t think so :hmmmmm:.

Thanks again :)
