proudabu
Hi I'm rather new to the whole gold prospecting field but I have bought the book "fists full of gold" and I love the book so far but doesn't really answer one question for me.. What is the best state for alluvial placer claims. I know Alaska is up there but I'm looking for something in the lower 48 as I will be stationed there for quite a awhile (in active duty military) and can't just come home in the winter. I wanna pick somewhere that allows "recreational" dredging. Also I'd like somewhere that isn't too populated and not far from an army base if possible. I was thinking either Montana or Oregon but I'd like to get your guys advice and what you would pick if you had the option. Thanks a bunch Philip
busspass
Boise Idaho is great! Plenty of gold close by, dredging is legal.
