Hi Richard,

Unfortunately, when the fall occured 99 years ago, there was no GPS yet, and no mapmakers to accompany the throngs of people who rode out to the then remote site to pick up baskets of the odd-looking rocks. So we'll never really know what and where, the original strewnfield ellipse dimensions were. The closest thing to it, is the coordinates of Holbrook finds that hunters have saved. Such a map tells us what was small enough to be missed by the original hunters, and what had penetrated the ground. I would call it a remnant map. It's dimensions are generally agreed on by anyone who has extensively hunted there.
