Bedrock Bob
I always assumed it was to "block" that persons p.m.'s. I have always seen that word next to the recipient's icon in the upper left corner. If you click it it will turn to "unblock" to allow P.M.'s from them. It is a toggle to alow or block communication, or at least that is what I have always assumed.
Au Seeker
I always assumed it was to "block" that persons p.m.'s. I have always seen that word next to the recipient's icon in the upper left corner. If you click it it will turn to "unblock" to allow P.M.'s from them. It is a toggle to alow or block communication, or at least that is what I have always assumed. It's actually the opposite, if you "hover" your mouse cursor over the red word "Block", you will get a little Popup message that says "Block this user" if you click on the red word Block it will block any further messages/PMs from that user and as Bob said it will change to a red "Unblock" and you will also see the user's name of the member turn red as well indicating that you have "blocked" that member from sending you any PMs until you "Unblock" the member by clicking on the red "Unblock". So if anyone is getting harassed by another member via the PM system, by all means block the member and contact Bill and or one of the other Administrators, if you're having problems contacting one of them contact a Moderator to have the problem handled. I would recommend saving a copy of any unwanted PMs and coping it to the Administrator or Moderator. Skip
