Crashbox 9
I'm looking into buying a Le Trap plastic sluice for black sand cleanup. Le Trap sluice is 15" wide and the box on my dredge is 14" wide and Le Trap won't fit inside there. If I were to cut appox. 1/2" from each side of Le Trap to fit inside, would that be enough to ruin the structural integrity of Le Trap?? anyone with success doing something like this? xt18000
I have never tryed one but with it being molded plastic I think you would distroy its strength to the point it would be usless. Also don't think it would work very well as a dredge sluice even if you used it just as I comes from the factory. Way to much flow with a dredge. Just my opinion. Au Seeker
Check out some of Angus McKirk's sluices he makes several different sizes and all of them work as well and some even better than the Le Trap.http://www.angusmackirk.com/ Skip
