matt
Nice job GSM. Just curious how many targets you estimate you dug to get those 4 little guys. I pounded an old patch today aswell. I only got 2 little guys similar in size to yours and I dug a least 100 targets trying to expand the patch. No expansionfor me, but my 2 little ones were right in the middle of the patch. I don't know how I missed them before. I am now using agpx5000. Were you using a modded 3500?Matt
Guest goldstudmuffin
Hi Matt,Thanks, This area was not worked by the old timers so there wasn't any trash today and there wasn't any in the patch I was working earlier this week. There is the occsional ironstone and once in a while there will be a boot tack or a rare 22 slug. It's not uncommon to go a couple of hours without digging a target.I was using the 3500 today, how are you liking your 5000? Russ

Guest goldstudmuffin
Good Morning bill, :spinnin: you won't believe this but I was at that spot yesterday, I haven't been there sience that day we met you there. I didn't find any gold there but I found one nugget up at 18 ounce wash. I cut a side wall on my 10 ply michelins and my spare tire was no good. I had to call Scott to come and rescue me. :whoope: Here's the nugget.

Did find a decomposed harmonica about 20 inches deep that had me some excited for the odd signal it gave :baaasmiley: Tell the GB feller I said hey! When you have some time it would be fun to hunt with you at 18 ounce wash... Maybe you can bring Mike C. along so he can try out his new beeper. Maybe Frank (Sarge) would like to come along also? SGTFDA
You got that right Don. Here is picture from the same time last year back in PA. 4 degrees back in PA this week and I'm outside in my underware shooting pigeons off the roof. You can't beat that.Russ other than this Sat ( GPAP LSD outing that I'm committed to)I can go anytime. As far as that goes any of you guys need someone to go with I have nothing but time on my hands. I do go alone but in remote areas it's best to have someone with you. S@#t happens. My Wife hit at the casino and bought me a recirculating mini sluice and a gold miner panner and I've been screwing with that also. She also tossed in a SPOT locator. True love is a wonderfull thing.
