At the GB outing in October someone was telling the story about how meteorites are claimed by a faceless Gubmint agency to not be locateable/property of the locating person (unless it's the gubmint that located 'em - sadi VERY tongue in cheek!) and about a guy who took a box full to some agnecy or college in AZ...

Can someone either retell that story here, or PM it to me. I found it be amazing and hilarious and want to make sure I got it right when trying to recount it to my wife.
