fredmason
While searching amazon.com for some stuff I browsed through a search of meteorite books...one came up that I didn't have or was too frugal to buy new when it was new...METEORITES, ICE AND ANTARCTICA; A Personal Account by William A CassidyThe author set the groundwork for collecting meteorites in antarctica...and relays his own experience related to many years of the quest. His style of writing is informative yet not pedantic...and he has a fine sense of humour. I am half way through and think this a worthy addition to any meteorite hunters libary...I bought an almost new copy for under 10 bucks with shipping. The libary that had it probably never had the book opened or read by more than one person...their loss.If Mr Cassidy is still alive and kicking I would love to meet him...if he has gone to the great beyond...rest in peace! Either way, thanks for writing the book!fred
