homefire
A few days ago, I received a TV Survey by the Nielsen folks.I chucked it in the trash bag in the van. (The Foot Ball Folks Aways Win)This morning I decided to chuck it all out.Like Normal, I open stuff like that just to see what info they printed about me and Planned on tearing it up and disposing of it in two different trash dumpsters. OK, I don't like Dumpster Divers Like Me getting my info.To my Shock, 5 $1.00 bills was in the thing. A nice little note stating this is to Entice you to fill out the Survey over the Next Month. All Crisp! Sequential Serial Numbered. What a HOOOOOT!I'm sure I chucked out more then one without opening the things.Don't Just Chuck them out.Thank You Neilsen for the 4 pack.I will fill it out and hope you see everyone is not into Foot Ball! Bedrock Bob
I figure the gold is in dumpster diving for Neilsen mailings. I bet about a million are thrown away without ever opening them. If there was $5 in the last one mailed to me it is now in the San Miguel Co. landfill collecting interest.

I killed my TV ten years ago and have never mised the darn thing. Life is too short to spend any time at all staring into a box of light. Lve2fsh
Hey Bedrock I work at the post office (ok I'm employed there) we see stuff with money all the time going thru the machines. Taking any of it is the fastest way for us to get fired. As for me between tv and the puter I never get anything done.

Lve2fsh
The machines can't see the paper money but usually shreds the envelope with the coins in them. Most people working there know which ones have the money in them and the temptation is there for some.Had a temp carrier that would steal credit cards from a route that wasn't his and then go back thru the mail a few days later looking for the pin number.Of course every profession has bad apples.I always said a stealing a roll of stamps isn't worth it but 2 million and a country that won't extradite me back...................well maybe.
