The Dutchman claims 3 more lives

Recommended Posts

When I was little, we found a man. He looked like... like, butchered. The old women in Tortilla Flats crossed themselves... and whispered crazy things - strange things. "El Diablo que hace trofeos de los hombres."

Only in the hottest years this happens - and this year, it grows hot. They begin finding men. They found them sometimes without their skins... and sometimes much, much worse. ..."El Diablo que hace trofeos de los hombres" means "the demon who makes trophies of men"...

 Terry

I think it was foul play....The two characters the old timer was with look suspicious... :hmmmmm:

Now Terry....why would you quote Elpidia Carillo from the original Predator movie? Although its a fine quote...surely you dont believe in boogey men?

"My mommy always said there were no monsters - no real ones - but there are.

Why do they tell little kids that?"

LOL! :hahaha: I don't know what triggered that memory (maybe how hot it is out there this summer?). Love that movie. I think it is the only one to star TWO governors. :whoope: - Terry

An old man in Wickenburg once told me the the Dutchman worked at the big mine in town (the Vulture I think)and was in the habit of high grading ore from that mine and claiming that it came from the now legendary "Dutchman". Don't know if it's true...could be a legend about a legend.
