Missing Link
I am thinking on upgrading my GP 3500 to a GPX 4500. The trouble is that I like my 3500 and it is in mint condition. My thoughts are would I take a hit in the pocket book and would the trade up be worth it. How much deeper will the 4500 go and are the new features just making the detector more user friendly? I have read feedback on the switch issues with the 4000. Does the 4500 have any faults that have been discovered? Scotty
FlakMagnet
Scotty,Yes you will take a hit in the pocketbook. The 4500 is a better detector than the ones that proceeded it.It isn't really a question of a 4500 going deeper than a 3500 as much as it is that a 4500 is more adjustable and has improvementsthat allow it to handle ground mineralization and EMI better.Flak
