Jayray Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Howdy Gang, I decided to do some astronomy last night at Red Stone Picnic area, out at Lake Mead. Between 11:00 - 11:30ish we got a real treat, a huge fire ball off to the east, with two flashes of light. It lit up the whole sky, and all I could do was wonder, where did it land... I ended up staying out too late, after 2am and had a good time. I got a chance to play with the camera, and took a few pics. Jayray Posted April 27, 2009 Author Share Posted April 27, 2009 Sonny, I have a Meade LX-200 GPS, 8" scope. It gets the job done and works pretty well.
