Okie Science Update

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion, that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, in California an archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, headlines in the LA Times newspaper read: ' California archaeologists have found traces of 200 year old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers.'

One week later, a local newspaper in Oklahoma , reported the following: After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture in Okmulgee County, Bubba Johnson aka, grubstake, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Therefore, Bubba has concluded that 300 years ago, Oklahoma had already gone wireless.

Who said Okies were hicks? :smrt1:

NOW thats funny Garimpo! How about the cop that was waiting outside of an OK. bar at closing time, hoping to nail some drunk for DWI. The bar closed, everyone came out, rushed to there cars and trucks, one guy was staggering, went to his truck, tried to put the key in the gas tank hole, fell to the ground and was then tring to put the key in the wheel to start the truck. The cop though to himself, WELL I got one . The cop went over to the guy, and said hey bud. I think you need to blow in to this breathaliser, to see how much you have had, I think your drunk. The guy blew into it. The results were oo.o. The cop said, that test must have been wrong, try it again. So he did. The results were oo.o. The cop said your not drunk! what going on? the guy said OH I'M the desinated DECOY TONIGHT! Everyone else had already gone home. Good old Bubba. Grubstake
