Can someone tell me how I can down size my pics when I get them from my documents please. :tisc-tisc: it asks me when I send a regular email, but when I browse them from here I cant find the option to downsize them, so they are to big. :grrr01:

That first pic of the pooch is great.....but the second pic taken from inside the truck says alot about the person (Paleface) with the detector on his shoulder and looking to the left......classic kinda "skunked" pic or maybe 'not' but says.....yup, I'm still lookin' even as he approachs the truck, now that's a prospector! :bek082:

Good on you guys, I'm sure you had a wonderful time out there. :icon1:

Don & Greg,

Now ya went an done it...........First, Don pulls a 1/2 ouncer from below my GMT crumbing coil depth range with his Minelab and then Greg plants his cigarette wrappers here and there in the patch. :PO2: It is get even time.........

:ph34r2:

Gary,

Yep we were skunked on that trip, one of the few times that we have been skunked. Batteries were dead and it was head home time. There is gold in that area, we will find it another day, especially if Don brings along his Bounty Hunter.........and leaves that 4000 at home.......... :;):

Jim I can't hardly wait for our next adventure.

Remember those fishing sinkers, you gave me to

test the drywasher. While you are dreaming up a

payback,I will be trying to remember if they fell

through a hole in my pocket,in your crumbing spot

or maybe I put them in a bucket. :laught16:

Gary,Paleface is a heck of a prospector.But the

reason he was looking to the side,he was following

the bread crumbs ,he stuck on the bushes,to find

his way back. :innocent0009:

Here is some more pictures of a typical day prospecting.

One is Jim watering his gold,so it will swell up big enough

to show in a photo. Another is Don ,said he had a signal,

but he is really trying to retrieve his test nugget from a

ground squirrel. Of course by this time my nerves are a

little frazzled,so my picture didn't come out so good. :laught16:

You just gotta love it! :yourock:

The fun we have is worth more than gold.

Any gold found is just an excuse to play. :laught16:

Jim is a really great guy,and anyone would be

proud to have him for a friend.

Some days he does find a little gold, and manages

to find his way back to the truck too. :confused0013:

Sawmill, is Paleface having a problem with his dentures in that photo on the right? :laught16:

Slim,

NO, that is a picture of Greg trying to fit one of my little nuggets onto a tooth for a gold crown, and at the same time hollering at Don not to hurt the ground squirrel that stole his test nugget. :innocent0009:

Now that is what I call a test nugget, those are some real nice chunks. You had one heck of a year.

Yes, that one on the skoal lid looks like the hombre.

I have not seen you for awhile, did you grow a fur coat for the winter? :kewlpics:

The one Greg posted of me will get a change on Jan 2nd, getting some new upper chompers and am getting another gold crown on the 7th. Had them alloy in some Gold basin placer in my first crown, am going to try and get them to use some Hualapai Mt. yellar in this one. Not sure if the current guy that does the casting will bend the rules and accommodate me.

Slim and Gary,

Yes, we have fun while prospecting. A sense of humor is one of the best ingredients a fellow can have in this day and age.

Here is wishing ya-all a Happy New year and may your pokes runeth over.

Greg,

:raspberry: :escape:

That's some incredible gold Don. How come you guys haven't found that missing stage coach loot? I heard there was a chest full of gold coins from the 1800's around there somewhere with a face value of about 50K.

Thanks. I would like to find that for sure, but its some big country out there. The stage stop was up Stockton hill and the canyon has been blocked off by private property. Its a long way from here to Yuma on horse back. I got to go up another canyon where the calvery had a stand off with some natives, but found world war 2 bullets everywhere, and didnt get to stay very long.

Don & Slim

Did they remove the gate on the left side of the canyon? You could still by-pass the private property about 6 months ago and go all the way up the canyon and cross over to Mineral Park.

It is checker-boarded with private property all the way up to the old stage stop. I trapped that canyon for quite a few years and saw many a treasure hunter camped near the old stage stop foundation. Story was that one of the robbers disclosed the location to a cell mate and that individual was observed spending a fair amount of time scouring the whole area. Believe me, Stagecoach canyon has been beeped and beeped and beeped again with primitive detectors. The Canyon station robbery was claimed to be at $72,000. There are several other little known Kingman area treasure stories. $300 million cached by the German Nazi regime somewhere in the Chloride area.

5 bandits robbed a saloon in Mineral Park (just over the hill from the Canyon station robbery), then

robbed a stagecoach carrying 400 pounds of gold bars, dust and nuggets. The strongbox was to heavy to carry, so was pushed off the side of the road and covered with dirt. The stagecoach was found not far from Topock and it is thought that the gold is buried somewhere between there and Yucca.

Maybe it is in the Franconia meteorite strewnfield.......

I believe that stage came through Prescott and recently someone found some old empty bank bags up that way. I think a lot of those stage robberies where the loot was never recovered were inside jobs and the supposed robbers were framed. Ya just never know.
