Go to my web site at http://home.ec.rr.com/bobadebt/50mil.htm and click on the "Gone but not Forgotten" link at the top of the page.

You will find a nice assortment of 50mm (2") square slices and it will give you a good idea of how the diferent irons compare to each other.

Do you need the peices cut to the size your looking for or is that just want you need to be able to cut out of a larger peice?

I looked at the Toluca piece. Am I to assume a 2" square would cost approx $200? (not sure of thickness). I want some of theis to use for the bolsters in a knife Iam plannig on making. Another question...... does this material resist oxidation, especially if handled?

A 2" square about 3/16" thick would weigh about 75gr and I would sell it for 75 cents per gram

Toluca and Seymchan are both very stable but you would have to keep some kind of oil or wax on them for addition protection which s common for any knife.
