Drake
These scale cubes add a professional look to your photographs when a coin, a hand, or a ruler just won’t do. They can be used for meteorites, geology, archeology, paleontology, failure analysis and any field where size and orientation is desired in photography. Our scale cubes have been purchased by many collectors and researchers, including personnel at NASA and major universities. Pictures can be seen at: http://home.sprynet.com/~monel/Cubes.jpg These cubes are made of cold formed 6061T6 aluminum. The letters are cold formed into the sides for a permanent application. The black color is Type II anodized and the letters are filled with baked enamel for a long lasting cube. If you look very closely, you will notice that the surfaces are ground and etched prior to anodizing to produce a matte finish. This was done to eliminate glare from a camera flash. Each cube comes in a black plastic container to protect it and a 4 page document with text and pictures to help you get the most out of your cube. Email me or post here for more info. Paseclipse
For those of you out there that have tried to find quality scale cubes (you know how difficult it is) here's your opportunity. With a MIL-A-8625 Anodize and baked on enamel for the letters you can pretty much say these cubes have been manufactured to aerospace specifications. High quality manufacturing like this ensures you'll get many years of use from these. The price is reasonable enough I decided to order two from him. Thanks a lot Drake I'm looking forward to using these in the field! :whoopie:
