larense
Hola forists. Recently we found, helped by our magnet, this sand grained stone. At first glance, we knew it was not a meteorite, but its magnetism, puzzled us. So, we sanded a corner and to our surprise, we found many metal veinlets in the sanded area. ¿ Has anyone seen somethig like this before ? Any help will be welcome . First picture: whole stone Second picture: macro view of ¿quartz? grains Third picture: metal veinlets shown in reflected light Hasta la vista, larense
goldmanmike
Here is a link to one I found that kind of looks like what you have. More of a grey metal than a shinny metal. http://www.nuggetshooter.ipbhost.com/index...;hl=goldmanmike Mike
