MobileHolmes
Hi All Seems there is not much going on out there so I thought I would share this. 145.5 gram found in Gold Basin at 9:45 am this morning. Pieces fit together and looks like it would be over 200 with missing pieces. Both were 4 inches deep and 35 yards apart. Really was lucky as the noise was so soft and the wind was blowing bad through my phones. :headphones: Looks like another trip to find the rest. :icon_mrgreen: Good Hunting Wayne P.S Sorry about the camera still looking for one. MobileHolmes
Thanks Paseclipse Its tough out there to find frags. I have been griding to find the left overs and not doing to bad. I figure that by the year 3000 I will have worked the whole field. From North to South my finds are 4 miles apart and from east to west about the same at this time. Plenty of room to move in the middle to find more. There are those who think the field is void of new finds [Not]. And after my 555gram find I believe the main mass has yet to be found. Its sticking your coil in between the right bushes. I also found a 1.5 g gold nugget in the process. You never know whats going to pop out. I have not met anyone in the field since April and on 15 trips I have zipped 4 times. I use a Whites V/Sat and it may not be the latest machine but works for me. Watch for the snakes and other varmints out there and find the mother lode. :icon_mrgreen: Wayne

Paseclipse
Wayne- hey.....watch out for Stan out there. Just don't let him hunt in front of you....... I've let him do this to many times and he likes to clean the big ones out for me before I get to them. I don't call him Lucky Man Stan for no reason. Congrats on your gold nugget find! Finding meteorites is a blast, but finding gold is exhilarating..... I just wish I could find more since I spend so much time looking for them. :grrr01: Stan- have you gotten that map yet or what? Give me a call if you can (I'm sure your probably at Franconia right now). I've taken the week off and I'm headin to Northern California to hunt for gold and live the derelict lifestyle for a little so call me anytime. Sorry I had to cancell saturday, but the motherload area's calling me.... BTW Wayne- you guys did a nice job on the DVD. Leaving for Nor Cal right now.... Going to take a break from getting scortched until it starts to cool off. At least less than 100, until I start to get out in the field. BUT once I start again there are several spots that I would like to investigate. And Hey Wayne: Save some pieces for us poor schmucks who cant take the heat any longer. Aloha for now and Be Safe Out There Everyone! Stan aka Kaimi
