Paleface
Here is a link to some more photo's of the space rocks found in Sweden, these were found back when the group first arrived. The 220 Kilo chunk that Robert found is not his first, he found one about that size last year and had it in the back of his Hummer when he came by my house here in Kingman, he knocked on my door and informed me that I just had to see his Franconia Iron. I commented, (is it in your pocket ? Nope, it is in the back of my Hummer...said Robert...... He opened the back and pointed to a chunk of Iron about 1 1/2' square.....There she be, he said with a big grin on his face...... :;): Every time Robert gets back from one of his globe trotting expeditions, he either comes by or calls me to run down to Bullhead City, Az. and see his finds. I am usually totally amazed at his success and quite green with envy... :icon_mrgreen: http://www.spacerocksinc.com/June_23_muonionalusta_2007.html These 2 links will provide a little information about the Muonionalusta Iron Meteorite, it is quite interesting reading...... http://www.muonionalustameteorites.com/ http://www.muonionalustameteorites.com/chemmet.htm Jim
