AU MARC Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Hi All I have posted these pics on the rock and mineral forum and had no response so maybe you guys can help me out :hmmmmmm: Was dug with aid of a detector at 15" deep,sounds very good at 3 feet with a PI minelab.IT`s non magnetic :tisc-tisc:weighs 5+ ounces,very heavy for size. but could it be a meteorite? Mr Hunter Man Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Is there any way you could slice it, a slice would be an easier way to determine what it is than looking at the exterior. But if it is not magnetis it would probably be slag, but it could be an achondrite, but they are really rare meteorites.
