Mr Hunter Man
Mike, very very nice find Mike, are these from a new find or of a strewnfield? no matter the answer thet are very beautiful. Have you had a chand to try out the excel spreadsheet I sent ya? If you are promptedm at the begining you can disable, I had a macro that could be clicked on and it would transfer the data to another sheet and save, this way you could compare different things with out all of the data on the screen, but I decided I will do it to a copoy that only I will try out, after it is working correctly I will give it out to who ever wants a copy, but for now anyone who wants a copy of the basic one all they have to do is email me and I will send it to them. Good Luck and HJappy Hunting!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Wishes, Joe Kerchner
Mr Hunter Man
Mike did you give the ground the evil eye to make the meteorite pop out of the ground in fear or were you using a detector. again nice find!!!!!! Joe
goldmanmike
I have been finding all the meteorites on dry lake beds by eye. I dont even take my detector with me. I do run them over, when I get home to see if it will go off. The ones I just found will not set my detector off. Joe,I just sent you a e-mail about the excel thing. Thanks again Mike

SoCalNovice
Mike, Hey, didn't I see some meteorites on Ebay that looked just like those two in the pics. Are you buying them off the Internet, holding them up in the sunlight, taking pictures, and "claiming" you found them. :innocent0009: Just kiddin'!! You are just darn good, I know. Next time we go out, you choose the location... that lake bed I chose last time sucked. Congrats, again, on your finds. Scott

Regmaglitch
Hi Mike, Those are real nice finds. Do you have any in-situ photos or location photos you could share with us. I wouldn't be alone in saying that If you can find those in one day, then you what could you find in TWO DAYS ? (hint, hint) Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see what you turn up on your next outing. Best Regards, Ben
goldmanmike
Ben, Unfortunately I left my camera in the truck. That was a 2 mile hike back, so I did not get any in situ pic. The dry lake bed that I found them on, I have hit it 4 times now. 2 out of the 4 time was the big skunk. I wish it was that easy. Just get lucky some times. The main thing is to just get out there and look. Paul, Blah, blah, blah I dont want to hear it :POsmiley01: . Just take a look at your pic. Whats that by your head, hmmm a 2.5lb chondrite . :wubu:  Mike
