larense
Hola to all . We bought a small NWA unc. meteorite, and when we sanded a corner, we found this strange looking matrix. ¿ Is it an OC or carbonaceous chondrite ?. Any help will be welcome. Below the macro picture of the sanded corner . Hasta la vista, larense
larense
Hola again. The inclusion on the right upper side, has a bronze metal like color.....and when we sanded the corner, it leaved a black color dust, unlike other unc. we have sanded that have almost all leaved a light grey or light brown dust color. As soon as we can, we will take more pictures of this specimen, wich is small and have a flat form. Hasta la vista, larense
Nugget Shooter
Hola larense, Photos are so hard to read...Very interesting is that the only one? If not perhaps have it classified. Bill
Mr Hunter Man
The inclusions looks and sounds to me like a troilite inclusion. Which is much like terrestrial Pyrite wich makes black dust when sanded or cut, it also makes a black streak. Best Wishes, Joe K
