  12. Tough call.. too bad you can’t try out some of the detectors on your list to see if they fit the bill. I’d use the Equinox 800 and the XP Deus. Good Luck!

  14. Hey Everyone, I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I live in Southern Calif with my awesome wife of 45 years and love to metal detect the local beaches. Currently, I'm using the Minelab Equinox 800 along with the XP Deus. My first outing with the Equinox, I found my gold wedding ring that had been lost in the backyard for several years. My first time out on the beach with the Deus, I found a beautiful Silver Academy ring. So I like both detectors and will keep them both in the stable. Whether you're a nugget hunter, relic hunter or a coin shooter, best of luck out there to everyone. Rusty
  15. Hi Everyone, I’m new to the forum but not to metal detecting. My current detectors consist of the Minelab Equinox 800 and the XP Deus. It’s nice to be here and I’m glad to be part of the forum. I just had shoulder surgery and can’t wait to get back out there. Best of luck! Rusty
