  1. Good stuff Tom. Here's my 'coolest' find from the last several months. It was just laying there in the sand... Found the nuggets on the same day. Good times.
  2. Don't you know Nixon was a..... Haha, just kidding.
  3. Someone should call him. He's probably doing nothing like the rest of us.
  4. It seems that a lack of basic reading comprehension has emerged as the biggest problem in America. Much more dangerous than Covid19.
  5. You know Slim.... I fully expected you to take this thread in that direction. Your argument has no substance unless you can include your politics. It's obvious that you are trying to get this thread locked. Maybe it's time to raise your flag?
  6. I don't believe I've been anything but nice to you so, Thanks. I'm glad you have a job. Obviously many are not so fortunate. Are you self employed? I worked at least 80 hours a week when I was. You know, the weird thing is.... When someone pays payroll taxes, some of that money is for times like this. People who had to file for unemployment are actually getting some of their tax money back. Except the government didn't save that money and had to borrow some. What made you think I don't support bringing American jobs back? Did you read the article to the end?
  7. I enjoy a good 'Frontline' episode from time to time if that's what you're referring to. BBC, DW.... Who else?
  8. Thanks for participating Weaver ! With those names you listed, I'm just going to say 'Fox News' for you. While I don't listen to any liberal/progressive broadcasters, I'm going to guess their lack of presence on the AM waves is due to evolution.
  9. I'd like to hear from anyone else who hasn't already made their bias clear. Just looking for honest feedback.
  10. Still.... Cable 'news'. You're paying to be lied to. It's laughable that you are more concerned with 'ratings' than content. I guess as long as they keep saying what you already think then it's all good.
  11. I'm not talking about CNN. Nothing I've posted here has been sourced from CNN You actually made my point by 'offering' a cable 'news' source. Thanks !
  12. Well then what about PBS? I don't need a lesson on biased news sources. What I want to know is where 'you guys' get your 'unbiased information' from. Lots of talk about the MSM, but then someone repeats some BS from the same MSM. How are y'all so enlightened?
  13. Then what information sources are 'okay'? Are there any? Are we just going to go off of opinion? I've asked before, which sources are 'acceptable', and didn't get a useful response.
  14. The article that Morlock posted states that an American supplier of N95 masks tried several times to get 'the word out' that he could be making masks in the USA. According to the article, he was ignored. How is this not what you were talking about? (In the nicest, unthreatening way I can ask you)

  16. This is not what I was asking for. But, Thank you for your response. This is why we all respect you as Moderator. If we can't have a civil discussion about the content of the links posted in the future. This thread will further devolve into a long list of links from obviously biased websites such as "Live Links". I guess we'll see what happens.
  17. It's mighty tough when we're still moving backwards. Can anyone honestly say that if a different person was occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., most here wouldn't be foaming at the mouth to try to have some level of accountability? Plenty of hypocrisy here. Is everything going so smoothly that only I am having a problem with it?
  18. No, Skip. My point is that we really can't discuss this subject in an intelligent fashion without talking about the people who are making the decisions. If Slim can offer anything that doesn't break the forum rules, then he should do so. People want to 'open up' and 'get back' but we can't because there are some basic needs that have yet to be addressed. Have they not been addressed due to my inaction? I don't want you to have to 'babysit' this thread. If you never intervened, then it would be up to the individuals to decide to participate or not. I don't want chaos here.
  19. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/14/trump-coronavirus-alerts-disinformation-timeline Without breaking forum rules.... Can you refute or offer anything to the contrary?
  20. I would be happy to if it were allowed. Too many sensitive feelings around here.

  22. I agree with your sentiment. But manufacturing is not the ONLY thing that needs to change. It would be a good start, but not the only thing.
  23. Those are CDC numbers Bob. From 2017, to coincide with the info that Slim produced. Over 78 thousand deaths in the US, so far. 517 in Arizona. What's blurry? Which entities? How will they benefit from wrecking the economy?
  24. Well hopefully when it's all 'over', Covid19 will only rank in the seventh position. It's still early yet. Keep your fingers crossed. Number of deaths for leading causes of death: Heart disease: 647,457 Cancer: 599,108 Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936 Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201 Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383 Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404 Diabetes: 83,564 Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672 Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis: 50,633 Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173
