  3. ← Compromise. . .Has Sierra Bullets stopped or slowed production? → Is the Government buying all the Sierra bullets so that there are none left for customers?Posted on May 23, 2013 by Sierra Bullets We asked Sierra Bullets Vice-President of Sales, Matt Reams, “Is the Government buying all the Sierra bullets so that there are none left for customers?” The Short Answer: Absolutely not. We have been asked this millions of times this year due to the internet rumor mill being in high gear again, as it was back in 2009. The Long Answer: Government sales are a very small part of what we do. We are a private company and I am contractually bound (as are all of our executives) from disclosing any sales data. What I can tell you is if we lost all our government sales in a normal year, our day-to-day business would not be changed a great deal. We may need to lay a person or 2 off at the most, but that would be it. Now on the other hand, if we lost even ½ our US shooting market sales, we would be laying off entire shifts. We all see the government as this huge entity with unlimited resources, but their sales pale into nothingness when compared to what the US shooting community needs – even on a normal year. When you factor in the 7 fold increase in retail sales this year and the sequesters reduction in government sales – it is even less of a factor than a normal year. Our 2013 government sales are actually lower than 2012. I know the rumors about huge government agency purchases along with the shortages makes some people draw conclusions that simply are not the case. Being in sales, I can tell you that a government agency requesting a bid for 2 billion rounds of ammo is a FAR cry from a government agency BUYING 2 billion rounds of ammo. The shooting industry is a fairly close industry and we all know each other pretty well and word gets around quickly. I personally do not know of a single company who has been awarded this bid, let alone one that is working on it. The shooting industry would know it pretty quick. Many companies sell to government agencies and have for many, many years. These small segments of business are not causing the shortages in any way, I promise you that. When the conspiracy theorists tell you “the shooting industry is lying to you and that all the sales are going to the government,” remember this, the shooting industry is made up of thousands of people just like you. We are in the industry because we love to shoot and hunt. We are at the range on weekends just down from you punching paper, slapping steel or sighting in. Our employees think about the government and the laws that are being introduced the same way you do. Now, picture if YOU worked at one of these companies and saw this kind of thing going on. You would be very upset to say the least. So imagine how hard it would be for the entire shooting industry to be in on some massive conspiracy with the government to not sell to the US shooters. Saying it would be impossible is an understatement, and I would expect my office would be on fire by now. Our people would never stand for it even if we were stupid enough to want to do it. So what makes more sense, the conspiracy theories or that sales really are that strong and the industry simply cannot keep up? The next time there is a gun show in your area, go for a visit and see how many people are there compared to normal and look at the ridiculous prices they are paying for products. This is the same panic buying that is gripping many US shooters driving them to buy more than they ever have, creating these shortages. One thing we can do that the conspiracy theorists cannot, is prove it. We do tours all day long and everyone is welcome to come for a tour. The first department you walk through is our shipping department and you will see the millions of bullets lined up to ship that day and where they are going. You will recognize all the distributors names and not see any with the words “Department of” anything in front of them. We invite you all to come see for yourself. Share this:Twitter5Facebook611

  9. Yea so what do you beleive?????? FEMA to confiscate food from local farms in emergencies? http://www.naturalnews.com/ Since our nation's founding the federal government has, in times of emergency, claimed extra-constitutional powers and authority. Under the guise of acting in the public's best interests, Washington has taken away privacy rights, free speech, and habeas corpus, among others. There's no reason to think it wouldn't happen again. With that in mind, would it surprise you to find out that if disaster strikes in your part of the country, the federal government is prepared to take over local food supplies, in part by confiscating farms? It shouldn't, says "Farmer Brad," a Texas-based farmer who said in an interview about food security with Mike Adams for Natural News TV that during Hurricane Katrina, an inventory of local farms and what they produced was conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. "FEMA was doing an inventory of all the farms around ... metroplexes," he said, which included nearby Houston and other large cities. "They started calling up farms and wanted to know where farms were, and they were being prepared to maybe take food if they need to, from farms, you know, for a crisis like that." Brad, of HomeSweetFarm.com, said that while the agency didn't come right out and say they would confiscate crops and cattle, "they were making food assessments, you know, what is in the local food shed in a metroplex." He said the agency's assessment took into account a number of potential emergencies and disasters, including spikes in fuel prices or even sudden disruptions - anything that might hinder or prevent the delivery of food to stores. Such scenarios would also lead to dramatic increases in food prices as well, Brad said. "The distribution system for food is so fragile, you know, and there's only enough food in these grocery stores to last, literally, for just a couple of days," he said, noting that store shelves during Katrina were stripped bare "within hours." Worse, Brad said, because of mass evacuations from the big cities, traffic choked local roads, making even short-distance travel impossible. He said he and his family couldn't even get into town to go to the store. "We heard all kinds of stories from our local residents about what it was like - people camping out in the Walmart parking lot; grocery stores were empty; food wasn't coming in," he said. "We had people from 90 miles away from Houston and some other metroplexes coming into our town because we were one of the few that still had gas." Brad said that FEMA didn't send agents to farms but made phone calls instead asking, "what are you producing, how much land do you have, wanting to get the details of the local food sheds in the area." He said he and local farms were voluntarily providing the information but that the food security aspect of the questions made them all "a little suspicious." As people flee the large cities, Brad says most of them will be unprepared and that his farm - through theft or through confiscation - will likely be "wiped out." RJ
  10. What's the connection between gun control... a recent executive order... and the coming food crisis? Fellow patriot, There's a reason why the US government is so eager to disarm the American people. It's got little to do with crime rates or mass murders... but everything to do with the very reason the 2nd Amendment was created for: to protect the people from a tyrannical government. Because when a major disaster hits the USA, a recent executive order allows FEMA to confiscate your food stockpile... and just like in the old USSR, to give it to the government-dependent masses. That's right: if you invested $30,000 or more in a survival stockpile, or you've been day-dreaming about having enough food to last you a decade... then you've got to watch this urgent video. Hi, my name is Alec Deacon, and in this short and controversial presentation, that will not be up for long, I'm going to expose how a devastating "once in 60 years" event... along with corporate greed and corruption... are setting the stage for a social and economic "time bomb" that will detonate right in the middle of the US... ... I'll reveal how ... the impending collapse of the US food supply system will steal the food from your kids' tables...

  13. The following is what got canada on the map gunwise. 9.The École Polytechnique Massacre 15 killed 14 injured | Marc Lépine | the worst school massacre in Canada’s history. December 6, 1989 : Twenty-five-year-old Marc Lepine killed 14 women and wounded a further 13 people at the École Polytechnique at the University of Montreal in the worst school massacre in Canada’s history. He then took his own life. In a letter he left behind, he indicated a hate for feminists as a motive for the shooting. It remains to this day the worst massacre in Canadian history. This was what made the govt.decide to have all the guns in Canada registered handguns were allways registered from when you bought it,long guns were never registered till then so some got wrote up and the rest got hid companys got on the wagon and were selling waterproof containers so you could bury them, then they made that illegal..They also made it so you could not buy any kind of gun without a licence,we have two catagorys of that, one for long arms and one for restricted,,,restricted being handguns and ,AK15 etc. nor can you buy ammunition without a posesion permit which allows you to own a rifle and shells. Recently they have dropped the rifle registration I have shot and handled guns since I was around 11 years old my dad taught me, he was very strict I have owned 8 handguns and 9 rifles so I decide to buy a couple more I couldn't because i had no licence I wanted to buy a handgun so I had to take the longarms course first so bought the book 260 PAGES of doos and dont's studdied it up and went for the test 50 questions and then if U passed then came the practical with an firearms instructor So then I had to do the same thing for the restricted permit 212 PAGES and the instructor.. I passed all with flying colours I also had to give 2 references and the police talked to both of them they also phoned me and asked a lot of questions one of them was have I ever taken anti depressants? There is no such thing as cary a restricted firearm here [only from your house to a designated shooting range ]no where else The same goes for an AR15 type rifle RJ

  15. Don: I can't say for sure if the people running California and the federal govt. are american or not owing to the fact that neither believe in the Constitutional rights of their own citizens.. There are at least three more gun manifactures doing the same,below.. Effective Immediately!! Due to the recent changes in 2nd Amendment laws that are pending or currently enforced by states across the country, the J&T Family of Companies which includes J&T Distributing, DoubleStar Corp., Ace Limited, and the DoubleStar Training Academy has been forced to reassess our policies regarding government and law enforcement sales. Effective immediately, the J&T Family of Companies will be joining other manufacturers and distributors by ceasing sales of regulated items in states that have altered the rights of citizens to keep and bear arms. The JTFOC will no longer sell prohibited items to law enforcement agencies or any government agencies in states, counties, cities, and municipalities that have enacted restrictive gun control laws against their law abiding citizens. We hope other companies will join us with their support. We applaud those already involved with this effort to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. In the wake of the re-election of history's most anti-American president, and the horrible events in Newtown that followed, we have received hundreds of e-mails and calls. Preppers across the nation are desperately trying to fill gaps in their preparations. Guns (all types, not just AR-15s), ammo, and magazines are in record high demand, and selling for record high prices. So what makes huge increases in demand like what we are seeing right now? Any major attack, real or perceived, on the right to be armed will cause people to buy the items that are in danger of being banned. This happened in 1994 with the “assault weapons” ban. It happened in 2008 when Obama was elected to office, and it's happening now as the result of his re-election combined with a tragic criminal incident. Will it happen again? Of course it will. Every time an anti-gun president gets elected, and/or a major criminal event happens that can somehow be blamed on a gun, there will be a push to topple the Second Amendment, and a corresponding increase in the price of guns, ammunition, and magazines. Stop and think about that... There is a 100% certainty that there will be future attempts at our freedoms, and a 100% certainty that guns, ammo, and magazines will double, triple, or more in price as a result RJ.

  17. The Gunwalker Scandal Made Simple There are five key accusations against ATF and DOJ made by ATF whistleblowers and other sources within FedGov: 1. That they instructed U.S. gun dealers to proceed with questionable and illegal sales of firearms to suspected gunrunners. 2. That they allowed or even assisted in those guns crossing the U.S. border into Mexico to "boost the numbers" of American civilian market firearms seized in Mexico and thereby provide the justification for more firearm restrictions on American citizens and more power and money for ATF. 3. That they intentionally kept Mexican authorities in the dark about the operation, even over objections of their own agents. 4. That weapons that the ATF let "walk" to Mexico were involved in the deaths of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE agent Jaime Zapata, as well as at least hundreds of Mexican citizens. 5. That at least since the death of Brian Terry on 14 December, the Obama administration is engaged in a full-press cover-up of the facts behind what has come to be known as the "Gunwalker Scandal." 18. Little bits-o-good crap "If you’re not shootin’, you should be loadin’. If you’re not loadin’, you should be movin’. If you’re not movin’, someone’s gonna cut your head off and put it on a stick." "You cannot save the planet. You may be able to save yourself and your family." The police cannot protect the citizen at this stage of our development, and they cannot even protect themselves in many cases. It is up to the private citizen to protect himself and his family, and this is not only acceptable, but mandatory.
  19. The Doctrine of the Three Percent. The Three Percent are the folks the Founders counted on to save the Republic when everyone else abandoned it. And we will. There will be no more free Wacos and no more free Katrinas. For we are the Three Percent. We will not disarm. You cannot convince us. You cannot intimidate us. You can try to kill us, if you think you can. But remember, we’ll shoot back . We are not going away. We are not backing up another inch. And there are THREE MILLION OF US. Your move, Mr. Wannabe Tyrant. Your move. The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any futher circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders' Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.

  22. Lists of gun owners are very valuable. In my neck of the woods half the males over the age of 14 have a heroin addiction that costs them $200 a day. They make that money stealing and their favorite target is firearms. To them, getting into a house with a few handguns is like finding a nugget patch for us. I don't know about how this type of thing will affect an area like White Plains, New York, but in rural Northern New Mexico it would certainly be a hit list for every junkie in the land. And down along the border where a gun increases in value by 300% by getting it across? A list of gun owners in Deming or Las Cruces would bring a liability that you could not possibly imagine. How could those people be so selfish,, stupid and not care what happens to those people whose addresses and info of where the guns can be found It seems that the people behind all this have been woorking to close to model airlplane glue. Does it take a revolition or something to wake these morons up and out of power..
