  2. Man I would break down the detector and stow it better. Sure A Chit I would snag that puppy on a branch or something a Bust it Good.

  5. Gasification was in use way back in yester years ! They could have been using Coal or wood to produce the gas. If it was some major mining operation my bet is they imported coal. Used it for all their Chit. Smelters , Gas, Heat ? I built a small one some years back just to see if I could. It worked. Made a ell of a Mess but worked. LOL Take a old metal paint can with lid. Put a few hand fulls of Scrap would ( upa Wood ) inside . Punch a pencil size hole in the lid and Seal. Heat the can on a camp fire or what ever heat source your flavor. You just need to get
  6. LOL, I remember those being offered in the back of the Popular Mechanic Mags ! Wasn't long after that you started seeing proper Gyro-copters all over the place in the Tucson Area. Some club or group set up a Air Drone just off the DM Air Base we could ride our mini bikes out to and wish we had one. Once in a while someone would try some funky maneuver and the blade would catch the tail stabilizer and DOWN they Came.
  7. Just realized that was a leg in the photo. LOL, Going with was used in Gas Boiler or Steam Engine. https://www.netl.doe.gov/research/coal/energy-systems/gasification/gasifipedia/history-gasification
  8. Close Old Gas Burner. If it's large most likely from a Boiler. I seen them used in old old gas stoves. A jet of Gas was shot into that long arm and in training air along with it set up a vortex of flame at the end. Not quite the same but you can see how it was used. https://www.google.com/search?q=Cast+Iron+Gas+Stove+nozzle+photo&client=firefox-b-1-ab&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjP9u3C7NPdAhWC8YMKHW6ADXgQsAR6BAgFEAE&biw=1366&bih=632#imgrc=gsdqVUiVf0LeRM:
  9. Done right I could run on solar more then battery and maybe even have enough to put charge in the battery while traveling. Emmmm Only negative thing I can think of is how long the hub motor would last. They tend to get more then warm.
  10. When a True BS Story starts out with "" Your Not Going to Believe this !"" They're usually right ! LOL
  11. Wonder how many snickers I would get if I shown up to a outing on my E-Bike and a camper like that dragging behind ? LOL I could charge a small Nominal Fee for a Battery Charging Service ? Emmmmm
  12. LOL, Yea, like me ! One of the good things I learned in the Military for sure. We had to do so much with so little for so long you learned to do almost anything with NOTHING !
  13. Chain Saw I think ? The Stuff is quite versatile it would seem.
  14. Someone else would come across it later along side my bones after I stroked out. :o https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/a-really-special-moment-big-nugget-found-in-was-northern-goldfields/ar-AAAq9mp
  15. Try to Use Coroplast Dave, Free Endless supply of once used political signs to be had. Sides and Top of the Canapy ? All but UV Proof. Fuel Proof. Using some Rubber Edge Molding you could make the Engine Cowling look most snappy, eaa? https://www.amazon.com/Trim-Lok-Edge-Trim-Protector-Push/dp/B00NL45NQI/ref=asc_df_B00NL45NQI/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167135816306&hvpos=1o5&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12381375472938160539&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9030427&a

  17. El Puddy Tat had dinner or some one simply dropped it. There are about a million and two ways to use those things. Dogs only being one. We use to have some seriously good times wondering around inside that mtn. That all ended when they installed the stupid Bat Bars.

  22. That Aircraft has my vote for being the best prop air craft ever created by this country.
  23. Yep. Aluminum would be my choice if it was my toy.. T-6 would even give the front end a bit more Strength. You may want to put a layer of something like Rubber at the mount points. It may Sing some with the Engine vibrations, eaa? Looks like it would direct the Waves right at your Head ! LOL
  24. Bummer ! There's always Aluminum ? https://www.metalsdepot.com/aluminum-products/6061-aluminum-sheet-plate?gclid=Cj0KCQjww8jcBRDZARIsAJGCSGtJP38WZcrYIv4Le80BNNB_PUHpnZAGRU2uLPJ7OLLaJ63eUEpPnOEaAshFEALw_wcB
