  1. In the spirit of Pegleg Smith's memory, I found no gold, either, just Argentine ants, 4.75 gallons of ultra white Henry's elastomeric roof paint( the 4th bucket, so far), charcoal mixed in with my suntan lotion and 106 degrees Farenheit. In your defense, the breeze did kick up a little, I found no bird or snake shot, and the roof paint cost me a Benjamin a bucket. To top it off, the wife forced my to buy popsicles when I went shopping.

  3. Don't forget a service loop in areas that may need it, or leave wiring long and ArcticDave can terminate, as needed.

  5. I see three miners and their money man standing at the base of a rocky slope that looks like it was hit with hydraulic monitors.
  6. I was looking up Aussie slang- Crikey, Kangaroos are loose in the top paddock. it means crazy( to think with all the ancient huge gold finds they've had DunUnda, someone would want to come to the land of fruits and nuts. I guess the mtn scenery is a draw, and the rumor(shhhhhhhhhh) is that 80% of the MOtherload is still undiscovered...)

  9. I see a miner kneeling with one arm extended toward the left wall, looks like he's wearing a bowler and his right hand/arm is flexed up towards his head as if he's asmall sledge in his hand or a cuppa Joe

  12. I wonder if a cheap XRF test would flesh out any info: if it could be focused to look at just one of the metallic inclusions( baring the inability to acid etch the specimin)?
  13. I believe astronomers theorize that heavy elements( above Iron) form in supernova explosions, as previously mentioned. I do not believe pressures in the core or mantle of the earth can rise to the levels needed for fusion. But there's plenty of that activity in the surrounding stars of the Universe.
  14. Someone who believes the sun is brighter than a welding arc? I think my auto darkening helmet is only 11
  15. The laptop was buried under a bunch of clothes. Well insulated, but it was OFF( supposedly).
  16. Maybe that's a good thing. My neighbor had his laptop( turned off )in the trunk of his car... NOticed smoke from the trunk. Popped the trunk and instant fire( laptop batttery). TOtalled the car.
  17. It ought to be pretty dark where you're at ..I heard that welding glasses/goggles s/b at least #12 shade or better... will probably make a pinhole viewer to see aprox. 70% obscurity
