  1. Hi Guys, glad to be able to help. I'll do my best to get things rolling quickly. Lots to learn in a short period but I learn best that way. I'll be winging it so I'm open to suggestions and outright wake up calls if needed. I guess and introduction is in order. Jim Pressley, Peoria, AZ. 38, married with two young Boys,6 and 10. Been prospecting about 15 years now strictly as a hobby. Found gold in 4 four states, including Alaska. Here's a page I put up a while back just for fun. Jim's Golden Adventures JAPDEP@aol.com I work nights so please don't be put off if I don't answer emails the same day. 602-882-8473 Cell # Again I work nights so please, no calls before 8AM weekdays. I'll be looking for help from members in Arizona and other states with existing claims and new areas they feel are worth looking into. I will probably post a poll to gauge which states or areas we as a club are most interested in. Or is there a better way to decide? I will also need members to check out claims and new areas and give me a report. Once we have all the necessary info I believe we will be putting it up to a vote of the members weather or not to lease or claim an area. I have begun compiling the necessary forms in PDF format and will either post them as a resource page or make them available by email. I have already discovered there are some states witch require their own version of each form (Nevada) I will also try to put together research links that should help speed the process. Once again, any suggestions are welcome. Please be patient with me as I fumble my way though and gain experience. I also want to thanks Bill, Denny, Roger and John for making this whole thing happen. With their leadership and our great members, this will be "THE" club to belong to. Later...Jim P. PS it took me 38 minutes to write this so don't expect me to show up in the chat room too often :comp:

  4. AZdigger,(Is it Rick?) I may be able to help figure it out and walk you through fixing it. Call me at 602-882-8473 Or I can offer you a ride on my way through Kingman. Let me know. Later...Jim P.
  5. I hope it's more but I'll guess 1738 grains total with the largest piece being 392 grains. Thanks for the contest. Later...Jim P. I think I'll stay away from the bonus question as getting it correct could be suspicious. :innocent0002:
  6. Hi all, I posted this as a reply on another thread but thought it might get missed. Thanks for any answers. "Mr. Bill, I remember a discusion and questions a while back about corporations holding mining claims and the small miner exemption. I haven't been able to keep track. What was the answer to those questions, are we(the club) holding the claims in the WSPA name? Can we file the exemption? Sorry if i'm beating a dead horse, I've just been busy with other stuff. Later...Jim P."

  9. Hi Eldorado, I for one have always wanted try dredging in water I could see through :Huh_anim]: , I'd love to give it a go. Don't kow if I'd ever make it over that way but It would be nice to know I could if I got the urge. What kind of permitting would be required for a two inch dredge? Thanks for the offer. Later...Jim P.
