  1. "A bit Shaky?!?!..."LOL," I almost didn't post it at all, but these are about the only ones that have found down there since that Retched-Heat came in over the summer. It's cooler now and I'm ready to get back at it. Yea, I got in a hurry that morning and didn't take my GoPro (curses!!!) By-the-way,...You've been to that wash.

  3. I don't find another meaning for it. When you do a Google search the first two pages are all dedicated to "MY" Qweegle bungee. You are apparently going to kinky websites with made up words. LOL Like DocsDetecting.com I think you are getting "Qweegle™" confused with the "Swingy Thingy®", now that I have heard in a nasty unrelated context. Or maybe you are thinking about my new "G-Spot™" Portable gold panning treasure scoop? Hope you guys are doing well and staying healthy. Doc

  4. I live in Sonora Ca and was at a friends house today and he pulls out this 3 gram nugget and says look what I found on the ground by my chicken coup. His house is on the side of a pretty steep hill and he had to dig out the hill to make a flat spot for the coups and a garden area and thats where he saw the nugget. soil is typical reddish dirt with rocks and some quarts, he did say he dug through a vein of what looked like crushed quartz running through the dirt. needless to say I'm going back tomorrow to pan some samples in the spot where he dug out and I've been thinking of buyin

  6. Yup. I don't swing a 7000, so maybe this won't apply.... When you are having the 'ghost signal' problem, try to turn the gain/sensitivity down slightly and see if that quiets it down any. When I have this problem with the GPX, a tiny gain tweak is often the solution. As far as hot rocks go.... If it makes a noise, I kick it out of the way. I don't rely on the machine ground balance to do all the work. If it's making a noise, the detector is trying to tell you something. It just takes a few seconds to move the 'noise maker' and see if that's all it was. Most times

  7. A couple nice, crusty finds there, Jason! StV is always one of my favorite places to visit.

  9. This is a story from a long time gold prospector, gemstone hunter, and adventurer, Matt Mattson that I have known for close to 25 years, this is his story of his first hog hunt as a young teenager many, many years ago in Florida, it is one of my favorites of his many stories, he also has many videos on many different subjects if you care to check them out on his channel. Hope ya'll enjoy it as much as I do every time I hear him tell it!!

  10. Tell him to be prepared for a house relocating project haha. Or the house could be a good mine shaft cover too. Nobody would know there was a shaft there.
