  1. Well Hello Luke,..... Sure glad this "ISN'T" one of those "Way-To-present, AND Way-to-frequent" Leftest, ...Rightest, ...Political, ....Opinionated, ...Extreemest,...Conspiracy Theoryest Bull Sh.... posts that persist on this forum these days;... I'ts gotten to where it's not even worth posting a picture on here any more,....But, for the sake of what gold has been found lately I'll post a couple just to keep the subject on track. The last photo (of the vile of gold) is what I have accumulated thus far by panning-out concentrates at home. So far I have only 2.15 grams of: specks, flak

  2. Ok, I’ll post something. I got lucky last month and swung over this specimen in way up Northern California . I dug up a big rock and thought it was a hot rock but then swung back over the hole and the target was still in the hole and I found this. It was only 4” deep and I was using my trusty GPX4000 with the 12”x15” Commander coil.

  4. About 24 hours ago I was abducted by strange alien beings and probed by a seven foot robot with eight arms made of gold and with deep seeking capabilities. I was taken from my home in a beam of golden light. The details are very unclear. I remember bright lights and a group of dark skinned aliens with gold nuggets on chains. The leader explained that he was from the planet Jamaica and his assistants were from planet Pakistan and planet Lebanon in the Middle Eastern galaxy. Where there is much gold. There were dark skinned nurses wearing masks with beautiful black eyes that were not a

  11. I just purchased a roll of silver plated New Mexico quarters to put in the ends of my sotol walking sticks. I would have purchased the solid silver ones but they were too expensive. They looked exactly like the plated ones. I figured that being embedded in the end of the sticks and covered in resin that the plated item would serve the purpose for less money. The outfit I bought them from offered a bunch of the State coins in plated and solid silver. Along with National Park quarters and a few other commemorative coins. You pay a bit more for the uncirculated coins but they sell the p

  14. "The period between 1964 and 1965 was a busy time at the U.S. Mint as it transitioned away from 90 percent silver dimes, quarter dollars and half dollars, moving the first two to a copper-nickel clad composition and the half dollar to a silver-copper clad composition (40 percent silver). As a result, a few 1965 coins struck on planchets intended for the pre-1965 90 percent silver issues are known. These are coveted by collectors. The error type is also sometimes called a “wrong metal” error" The mint apparently "accidentally" kept using silver to mint an unknown quantity of these quarters

  15. "There hasn't been any silver in U.S. coins since 1964" Au contraire. The 1964 cutoff date applied to certain coins and not to others. Apparently it's a little known fact that "some" of these Washington silver quarters do exist. (And maybe even into 1966) And: "In 1964 Kennedy half dollars were made from 90% silver and 10% copper. Half dollars made from 1965 through 1970 are composed of two outer layers containing 80% silver and 20% copper with an inner core of 20.9% silver and 79.1% copper (net composition: 40% silver and 60% copper)" Also: Bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollars-Wi

  16. Just a thought that if you really hate digging trash like most of us , would you be up to the challenge of putting in a junk bag and show us at the end all of those junk lead and nail finds ? I really do enjoy seeing all of those piles of scrap metal etc. we are always picking up . It would be something if the hunters had to pick up after themselves like the miners LOL .Best wishes and Good luck on some more big nuggets . Peace .

  17. That cricket has found more gold than the 'Two Toms'. We haven't been out this year as yet due to other than the heat and virus. Young Tom is all tied up taking care of his wife who is very ill. I've been coming back from my own bout with hospitals and cancer. My back and legs don't work very good anymore and tomorrow I go to the doc to find out about Stem Cell Therapy for my knees. I sure would like to get out again. I know there is a big nugget out there just waiting to be picked up and i want to be the one to do it. The rains are coming and cooler weather is not far away. Screw the
