  1. David – you need to make your own. You don’t need the fancy equipment. I made one for myself using diamond core bits, files, sandpaper and diamond polishing compound. Just go slow and take your time. Mine turned out great but should have made a wide band like the one in the video.

  3. Looks like they turned out pretty nice. As far as jasper goes I would say #3 could be, but the other three look more like some kind of granite type rocks.

  4. Yes the flute player in the video and the one posing with the eagle is definitely a girl but the flute player in image you initially posted in not a girl, he is definitely a man, he is bare chested and he is a "plains" Indian, not an Apache, Plains Indians lived in teepees, Apache Indians with the exception of the Kiowa Apache were for the most part desert Indians and lived in wickiups, hogans and on the very rare occasion teepees.

  7. Been a mighty fine week in the desert! I picked up a 12x8 Evo for the 4500, as I have been hunting a lot of rock strewn washes. The Commander 11" is my only other coil, and I was missing a lot of ground by not getting it in between rocks, and up under bushes. Very impressed with this coil so far. I have no doubt the Minelab coil would have found these, but I could never have gotten the round coil into the spots they were found. What really blows me away, is how stable the 12x8 runs, compared to the 11. With the 11, I had a lot of EMI, and false chirps from blades of grass. I usually

  8. Hey Chris. I am sorry. My post came off wrong. I re read it and I dont want to edit it. I wrote it and I am not proud of it. I want to apologize for the tone because it seemed directed at you. You aren't making any accusations and I did not mean to imply you were ignorant. Im sorry Chris. My point was there are reports and they have tried enforcement. They are overwhelmed with a lot of things not the least of which is red tape and bureaucracy. We all wish it was more efficient and that there were better solutions. And I ask that you see that before you assume they have not tri

  12. Heck yeah they are. They are cool old coins. We have only found 1 large cent in all our years detecting and it was my oldest son about 4 years ago. It was placed either on a ore cart track or a railroad track and was smashed with an Indian head penny. Didn't find the indian head but it left the design of it in the large cent. He was excited about it.
