  4. How would you like to live here? As of Tuesday, 17.65 inches of rain had fallen at the Pit No. 5 Powerhouse near Big Bend in eastern Shasta County since Jan. 1, according to the state Department of Water Resources. About 19.5 inches has fallen at Stouts Meadow on the McCloud River, according to the state. And Donner over 15' of NEW snow also.......all in less than 10 days for gods sake...now where did I put that ark as yet another RIVER of storms heads our way---John

  5. I sent my youngest son a copy of the same photo I posted to this thread yesterday and his text reply was: "Oooooo. Nuglets"! I've heard them called several things, but "nuglets" is a new one on me! I like it! LOL

  7. Tom I think I know what your saying. remember last time you stopped by and I was complaining about my old Floord. I agree about the Mexico parts. I got an after market fuel pump from the local economy parts store. you know, the one that wants your first, last, email address and phone # before they will sell you a part. anyway I drag the new/old pump in there for a replacement and they say ok lets look it up. oh-well sorry it had a one year warranty and expired three days ago. Im thinking No way. Would you like to buy another one? Did you know you can buy an extended warranty on our parts?

  9. Thank you all very much! Desert nugget shooting is a whole different thing from the panning, sluicing and dredging I did when I lived in the Northwest. Joining this forum and getting to know some of you, attending the outings, reading posts, listening and learning, following advice from guys who are finding gold all the time... It has all made a HUGE difference! Here's to bigger nuggets! Lisa
