  1. What is an obsolete 5000? Still selling them and the 4500, both good beepers. Was just showing some nuggets Would it be better if I left out any details or what detector I hunt with? Glad you guys scored and glad the season is upon us once again....

  2. It's getting bad. This deer season up here, there is a group of people running around the hills vandalizing deer camps and stealing equipment while the folks are out hunting. They are also stealing stuff out of their trucks and side by sides when they go out for a hike. These friggen people p!$$ me off. They are just worthless scum looking to capitalize off people who work hard for what they have. Sorry to hear about the detector. I hope you get it back. Dan

  3. I like dredging the C.A.P. where it crosses the I 17 north of Happy Valley rd. My partner and I have done good there you should check it out ?. Or maybe the Roadrunner prospecting club might be better. Lol.

  4. Those clubs have monthly meetings that will help you learn the ropes. They also have outings where you can get hands on learning. I know the GPAA has quite a few claims that no matter what area of the valley you're in, there's a claim within a day trip. GPAA has access to claims across the country, and Roadrunners is local to AZ.

  5. Hi Amanda, Best bet is to join a club like GPAA or Roadrunner Prospecting Club to get access to areas to hunt when learning the ropes so to speak. Many areas well known like Rich Hill etc. are almost completely under claim making hunting near impossible without a club membership.
