Gold Prospecting Forum Guidelines

There are just a few rules here and yup I do enforce them and keep an eye on things as best I can. Here are a few guidelines I'd like you to follow if you will be participating here. This forum is not moderated as heavily as the other sections so please do not enter or open a topic if you think you will be offended. If you are at least respond like an adult or we will remove your post as soon as brought to our attention.

Vulgar and abusive language is not welcome here! Heck a cuss word to get a point across is not so bad, but I think you know what I mean.

I will not host public arguments and pissing matches between individuals here so please just don't do it. When it happens the post most times will simply vanish into cyber space.

Political or Religious posts belong in "Off Topic" but surly you can find other forums that host those discussions if it is your thing, I don't think anyone cares if you are Conservative or Liberal when we are out hunting gold nuggets.

You may not use this forum to advertise any other dealer, store, or product without written permission by owner at any time. Used items are allowed in the classified section.

This forum is not responsible for anything said by it's members at any time. This is a public forum and will remain so and although I can and will occasionally zap "bad content" I don't do it often and so far have never permanently banned a person. Also opinions expressed here do not always represent the opinion of the forum's owner!

Guests are welcome to browse the forum and use the information provided by registered members, but you can not post yourself until you are a registered member.

That is pretty much it my fellow Nugget Shooters so enjoy the forum, keep it clean and play nice.

    • I want everyone to know this place is still out there by lake pleasant.  I found chalcedony specimens.  I did not find them where the pins were, but I did find them on the other side of the wash, to the west a 100 to 200 yards of the pins. This is what it looks like laying on the ground, And this is what it can look like when flipped over I did not drive there on the trail, but parked on the hardball road and it was a 30 minute walk.  Would have been five minute walk from the trail.
    • Well then, maybe it's a .....Multi-Morphic Rock?... You have a very nice day too.
    • I'm on here to get some expertise in this area, which I lack.  Also different points of view or experiences can be helpful. I'm not on here plotting some scheme to trick people. That being said why would I, or anyone post 5 photos of different rocks asking to identify it as one?  I think you need to check your ego bud. You always have something to say. And as for your responses; they're all over the place and mostly based off someone else's response.  Have a nice day  🙃
    • Well, it looks like I will be taking a trip to England to visit with a relative of Captain Shears. Last Fall we had hired a very reputable private investigator to do further research on this story and he turned up quite a bit of intersting information in England as well as Scotland. I have never had the opportunity to travel to Europe so I am quite excited to say the least. We are in the process of working out the details and setting dates which will be in early May. I have a good friend in Edinburgh and will plan a visit to his home as well. He actually visited our mine sites back in 2019 and we had a great time. It was his first trip to the States and he was amazed by my Ford F150. He told me that no one drives anything that big in Scotland. I simply said it's just a truck. We were in the process of testing gravels on a claim with an excavator & Heckler Fabrication trommel and he worked with us for a couple of days. He couldn't believe we were allowed to mine for gold. In the UK everything belongs to the Royals and it is forbidden to even pan although he does it and Scotland has some great places that with rich gravels. Always fun meeting new people. More on all this at a later date. Cheers/ GM.
