Nugget Shooter Gold Nugget Forum Rules

First off let me welcome you to the Nugget-Shooter Forum,

There are just a few rules here and yup I do enforce them and keep an eye on things as best I can. Here are a few guidelines I'd like you to follow if you will be participating here. This forum is not moderated as heavily as the other sections so please do not enter or open a topic if you think you will be offended. If you are at least respond like an adult or we will remove your post as soon as brought to our attention.

Vulgar and abusive language is not welcome here! Heck a cuss word to get a point across is not so bad, but I think you know what I mean.

I will not host public arguments and pissing matches between individuals here so please just don't do it. When it happens the post most times will simply vanish into cyber space.

Political or Religious posts belong in "Off Topic" but surly you can find other forums that host those discussions if it is your thing, I don't think anyone cares if you are Conservative or Liberal when we are out hunting gold nuggets.

You may not use this forum to advertise any other dealer, store, or product without written permission by owner at any time. Used items are allowed in the classified section.

This forum is not responsible for anything said by it's members at any time. This is a public forum and will remain so and although I can and will occasionally zap "bad content" I don't do it often and so far have never permanently banned a person. Also opinions expressed here do not always represent the opinion of the forum's owner!

Guests are welcome to browse the forum and use the information provided by registered members, but you can not post yourself until you are a registered member.

That is pretty much it my fellow Nugget Shooters so enjoy the forum, keep it clean and play nice.

    • I once had access to the LAFD air guys, me and a couple of pilots were looking at a spot where we thought the Spanish had hid some cases of rifles in a cave based off an old diary entry where a ranch hand had took shelter in the one of hundreds of caves around there from a nasty rain storm that caught him out with the cattle. He explored it and found cases of brand new looking Spanish rifles. Next morning, the cows were scattered and he took off after them. Later, he could never find that cave again. Spent his entire life looking according to the diary and his grandson who was now looking for it. He believed the Spanish stashed the stuff there for easy access if needed since it was near one of the many Spanish Trails used to move between mission in California. As weather changed they used different routes for travel. This means if they hid stuff in one cave off of one trail, they probably hid stuff near other trails as well. Probably other stuff too...look into the story of the monk San Fransiquito...The buried mine has never been found. So, these pilots and I thought we had it narrowed down to a single hill. They were willing to take and drop me and one of the pilots off on the hill to look for it. This would get us past the 8' high-thick as mud-brush. We'd get picked up at the end of the day. They'd log it as a training mission. Never happened though. I got transferred to another job and even though we kept in contact, the one pilot was forced into retirement because of age and the other died of injuries they related to a crash he had years earlier. [Shrug] Far as I know, treasure is still out there. Due to state and federal regs, if I ever did find such a thing, I'd sneak it out, bury it on my land for a few years then film myself finding and digging it up. Would have to pay taxes but at least I'd be able to keep it.
    • Yeah, good ol' Uncle Sam always was a greedy Bastard. Sell a million pounds of cocaine and the IRS just wants the tax revenue. They could care less otherwise. However, they can't be trusted not to...notify other agencies so that they can get their cut too...CIA needs their share of that coke to sell and help fund their Black Projects. SMHID. Too many laws apply to the sheeple and not the gov't.
