Went out on an adventure with Dolan Dave over the weekend. We ended up at Franconia on Sunday afternoon. Dave found this broken meteorite and left me in charge of trying to put it together. No success thus far.

Dang nice Strapped !!! That's a really nice puzzle. The perfect inspiration to get back out and hunt, the NE has had a string of bad weather and I was in a bit of a slump (motivation!) thanks for sharing!!

Cool find, I love putting puzzle meteorites back together!

Here's 16 of 18 pieces of a Stewart Valley find I managed to piece back together.

And another Steward Valley puzzle find of mine.

They're like extraterrestrial rubic's cubes. :thumbsupanim

Coworker was able to put it together in a few minutes. Guess I am not a puzzle guy.

Nice work mike. Maybe you can help me put together a 3kilo I found. I have about 15 pieces put together and maybe another 20 to go. Unfortunately the pieces just keep getting smaller and smaller 🤔😩

picture shows ~1kilo

Heres another one that took me about an hour to figure out. It’s a great game to play with friends as I’ll hand it over in pieces and let them figure it out. I can almost do it with my eyes closed now 😅

What I've found to really help with the difficult puzzles is to use Bond 527 to hold them together while you find where the pieces go.  It's an acetone-based cement that forms a reversible bond (you can remove it by soaking in acetone).
