Garimpo,

I think that continuing the sharing finds is the way to go and leave the rest for special things. You have alot to contribute and I think each experience should have its own listing.

What I'm doing not is putting thing into a series or group of stories. I will continue to write single stories and post them but right noe I'm working on my own experiences. Look for series 2 soon.

Bob

I seem to agree, lets keep the sharing finds thread going. I look at it every morning, with my coffee.

I agree with everyone regarding the "sharing finds" thread. One thing that Garimpo and Bob can do since they have ' moderating control' of their forums is to "Pin" any thread of their choosing at the top and it will always be there.

Don, you've probably told the story about how you wound up in Brazil but it's probably been so long ago, it can't remember it all. :old: Would you care to refresh my memory and as well as all the newcomers on this forum?

Steve I first came to Brazil in 1996 to visit the Minelab Dist. for Brazil who lived in Rio de Janerio....he had

relatives living in this town so we drove for two days to get here to go gold hunting....

I stayed for three months.....

Then returned in 97 for six months which is the Maxim stay on a tourist visa

Then another six months in 98 and I moved here in Dec. 98

I was the first in Brazil with a SD2000....found some nice gold

This town is 73 years old and never seen snow.....my kind of place....

Been a lot of changes in 14 years.....mostly good....

Now I have a permanent resident card (green card) it expires when I do :old:
