    What I thinkI need

Thick nasty red clay, hot rocks, float quartz, ironstones and greenstones have been in most of the patches I’ve hunted in central and southern Arizona. Locate a nice flat, mellow area in a known goldfield with those kind of surface conditions and there might be nuggets suspended down in the clay. I think that thick clay works as kind of a bedrock in certain areas here in Arizona that haven’t seen enough water to be cut down to exposed stone bedrock.

    An old patch

Hmmm no kidding. That’s pretty interesting. Those red globular nuggies do look like the kind I find in “central Arizona”. The ones from your stomping grounds I remember being a little cleaner and sharper so maybe you guys expanded a little?

    An old patch

Great video and some great looking ground. I love to hunt dirt like that. When you get down that deep it's gotta be the good stuff.

Myself and some of the other Tucson guys are planning on going, working on getting the days off work right now. Never detected LSD before so looking forward to it.
