  3. New 2018 F150 V6 3.0L Diesel!!

... a bit???? You're not kidding... my Tundra with 4.7litre gets 13mpg on the highway if I'm lucky and if towing my travel trailer, lucky to see 9.5

    Sadly, only in gas....
  5. As a former software developer, I agree 100%, as an instructor, intellectual property is your product and while occasion free tips are nice, if someone wants to keep their kids fed and a roof over their house, they have to charge for the valuable info they have.
  6. Sounds like Minelab USA, Minelab Aus, and JP (based on a comment JP just made on Rob's board INSISTING you have to buy the Minelab one: http://forums.robsdetectors.com/topic/12430-nuggets-and-a-broken-ferrite-ring/?do=findComment&comment=86363 ) all see this differently, the real question is this... why the H E double hockey sticks are people not PLACING their ferrite on the ground instead of tossing it, I mean seriously, it's not metal and its made up of compressed powder, of course it will break. That being said, is anyone surprised that Minelab (the company that dropped their 10k detector down to 7k, sells them at cost of a couple grand less than that and can afford to sell them to dealers as demo models for 4k) would rather insist that you pay $18.00 for a chunk of compressed powder that you can buy a batch of 50 on ebay for at $3.29, give your head a shake. https://www.ebay.com/itm/7mm-Inner-Diameter-Ferrite-Ring-Iron-Toroid-Cores-Yellow-White-50PCS-LW/181834403242?epid=1269210767&hash=item2a562ccdaa:g:iEYAAOSw4UtWTwGZ Come on people... I think the real slip up here is a tech in Chicago let the truth slip... buy your bag of 50 for $3.29 and you have 49 spares to share with all your friends... after a few minutes of swinging it will all balance out in the end anyway won't it. ... or go back to spending $18.00 for one and be able to say you drank the Minelab Kool-Aid. Jen
  7. Pro-Find 35 fail.

His results were similar to the problems I had with my 25, I just purchased the 35 so hopefully these issues were a bad batch or may be different on our ground... sigh..
  8. 4500

Is this in your stock Bill? As in available in Wicky or in Phoenix by chance? Is the ellip an EVO? Good battery? Jen
  9. WTB: GPX Battery with bad cells

Wow that was fast, found one, thank you all.
  10. Hi all... I'm looking for a GPX battery with dead or near dead cells, I only want it to repair one I have with good cells but bad amplifer board. Let me know if you have one and let me know how much you want for it. If you have just the amp board I may take that as well. Thanks Jen
  11. Pro-Find 35 fail.

I agree with you Adam, truth be told, I've never used my 25 or this 35, not sure why I keep buying the junk..haha .... possibly anticipating one of those fantastic 40% deeper nuggets I keep hearing my GPZ is going to beep on one day... in other words... shopping addiction I reckon.... Jen
  12. Maybe they ground balanced it off camera or before starting the video. :o)
  13. WTB: Proline HP500 pump/motor combo

Still looking, if anyone has a Honda GX270/HP500 Proline pump for sale in good condition, let me know... have cash in hand.
  14. Well it's Summer again and time to work my claims up in British Columbia. Before I head up I'd like to pick up a Proline HP500 pump with motor if anyone has one for sale. Let me know... Thanks Jennifer
  15. Lost my Brother tonight

My deepest condolences, I lost my brother earlier this year in a drug overdose, (society's better off, it's frustrating and embarrasing having your own brother in the cells at work every week for property crimes to support his habit) and then lost my mother last month to cancer, those were the two left in my family... so I feel the pain... get out detecting, it's good therapy.
  16. Australia, an infographic.

By the time you see them, it's too late.
  17. They're not large (1.5 grams total), but they were both within 5' of each other and smack dab in the middle of Rye Patch, an area heavily detected. It was my first day so I reckon it shows the GPX-5000 can still find it out here, even with a loose nut like me behind the wheel. The one piece is paper thin (gold leaf thin) and screamed like surface trash, both pieces were tucked under scrub (less than 6" deep) but couldn't hide from the prying eyes of the 17" elliptical Evo. Jen
  18. No Skunky Monkey at Rye Patch

would be nicer if it didn't look like a little penis
