Humans are killing ourselves and everything else as we overpopulate our planet and have to use chemicals for insects and weeds to be able to produce enough food. Or there will be a monster virus or worse one day that will easily ravage the human population because there are so many traveling and living in close proximity to each other. Or just a big senseless war simply because humans can't get along and respect each others differences or believe their religion requires it..... Honey from urban hives has shown larger than average amounts of pesticides and herbicides in honey as the bees gather from gardens and yards that are sprayed by the owners, often in very high dosages regardless of what the label warns. There will be a payment due one day for all this stupidity and chemical overuse and there are bugs other than bees that are very important to the environment being wiped out as well.... Sad.

On Being A Mother After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner and a movie. She said, "I love you, but I know this other woman loves you and would love to spend some time with you." The other woman that my wife wanted me to visit was my MOTHER, who has been a widow for 19 years, but the demands of my work and my three children had made it possible to visit her only occasionally. That night I called to invite her to go out for dinner and a movie. "What's wrong, are you well," she asked? My mother is the type of woman who suspects that a late night call or a surprise invitation is a sign of bad news. "I thought that it would be pleasant to spend some time with you," I responded. "Just the two of us." She thought about it for a moment, and then said, "I would like that very much." That Friday after work, as I drove over to pick her up I was a bit nervous. When I arrived at her house, I noticed that she, too, seemed to be nervous about our date. She waited in the door with her coat on. She had curled her hair and was wearing the dress that she had worn to celebrate her last wedding anniversary. She smiled from a face that was as radiant as an angel's. "I told my friends that I was going to go out with my son, and they were impressed," she said, as she got into the car. "They can't wait to hear about our meeting." We went to a restaurant that, although not elegant, was very nice and cozy. My mother took my arm as if she were the First Lady. After we sat down, I had to read the menu. Her eyes could only read large print. Half way through the entries, I lifted my eyes and saw Mom sitting there staring at me. A nostalgic smile was on her lips. "It was I who used to have to read the menu when you were small," she said. "Then it's time that you relax and let me return the favor," I responded. During the dinner, we had an agreeable conversation nothing extraordinary but catching up on recent events of each other's life. We talked so much that we missed the movie. As we arrived at her house later, she said, "I'll go out with you again, but only if you let me invite you. "I agreed. "How was your dinner date?" asked my wife when I got home. "Very nice. Much more so than I could have imagined," I answered. A few days later, my mother died of a massive heart attack. It happened so suddenly that I didn't have a chance to do anything for her. Some time later, I received an envelope with a copy of a restaurant receipt from the same place mother and I had dined. An attached note said: "I paid this bill in advance. I wasn't sure that I could be there; but nevertheless, I paid for two plates - one for you and the other for your wife. You will never know what that night meant for me. I love you, son." At that moment, I understood the importance of saying in time: "I LOVE YOU" and to give our loved ones the time that they deserve. Nothing in life is more important than your family. Give them the time they deserve, because these things cannot be put off till "some other time."

Kind of off topic and slightly on topic of human stupidity.....did you know public schools spray roundup in school playgrounds to keep vegetation down. After they mow the grass, the surrounding areas are sprayed. So its all interconnected, we kill /harm anything for the all mighty dollar including putting our small kids in harm's way. From now on, I am buying my honey from local organic certified producers.

Went up a hill on my property for a long hunt was not getting many signals huge spent round, got to a spot and had a booming signal with the GM 1000 settings was deep mode sens 5 the target that I detected was after I had dug the spent round I pin pointed was almost pinging the non ferrous side of the meter 4 bars on the gold chance side, I take my pick and clear the spot where it was pin pointing to of about two inches of the top soil target still in hole still reading at 4 bars on the non ferrous side started digging a little deeper another two inches check the hole and target still in hole so I dig another inch out and hit a layer of crumbly rock clear the crumbly rock and check hole again with the GM 1000 the target still in hole and screaming louder but meter is still at 4 bars on the gold chance side at this point I try to dig down deeper but encounter a layer of what appears to be gypsum or something that the pick will not even chip down about 5-6 inches below the top layers spent 2 hours trying to break through what ever this substance is with pick and still could not break through it by this time it was getting dark and I was wore out so I marked the spot in my GPS I carry and headed back to my cabin down the hill going back up today with a sledge hammer and rock chisel to see if I can find that target any other ideas as to what I should carry up with me to break through what ever this stuff is,in my mind this stuff is to hard for a bullet round to have penetrated or anything man made here is hoping plan on spending the hole day up there if I have to not leaving there until I have the target out of the hole and in my hand this target never once swung to the ferrous side of the meter but we will see

Sometimes you'll get false target sounds if your detecting across a contact zone also, which happens to be where washes often form. Make sure the target sound is reliable when checked from all angles, also as someone else said, a target in the side can often be very deceiving

Not a problem. I just build this into the harness on those leads. All you need to do is connect to Pos side of Coil and Ground. The Arduino Ground is going to need tied to your ground. I will do that with the Neg you supply me for power. 12V....

I am sure that is the problem and I have also seen what Fred mentioned for myself and had to use a razor knife to cut off a little bit at base of shaft so it would plug in correctly. Let me know if you still have any issues, but I agree it is likely the adapter not making full contact inside.

I considered using Frame Ground and saving some wire but gave it second thoughts. I went ahead and Set up order the EtherNet Flat cable. If it looks ok we can use it. This is 26AWG, not what I was looking for but beats the 32 - 28AWG the other stuff is using. The only wires that WE are going to put any Voltage to is the Tack Wire and the Oil Pressure. Tach 5v low current. Oil Pressure Same. The Thermocouples Generate there own current. Going to sleep on it. 6mm Braided Expandable Auto Wire Cable Sleeving High Density Sheathing Length: 5M US$1.94 1~10M Durable Strong CAT-7 CAT7 RJ45 10Gbps Ethernet Flat Cable LAN Network Cord Aluminum Mylar Shielded , Pairs individually shielded as well.. Wire structure: eight-core twisted pair Product Wire Gauge: 26AWG Conductor material: OFC (99.99%), multi-stranded wire Length: 5M US$6.99 5Pcs MAX6675 Sensor Module With Thermocouple Cable 1024 Celsius High Temperature Available US$18.28

Already found that . On the Order pending. Next Order going out today I hope. Contemplating the Navel thinking of what else I might need on this order. I have like 3 other things on it for my own projects. Not so sure about the Wire I'm looking at . Says 4 twisted Pair 26AWG Shielded. Shooting for at least 24AWG. They Fudge on some stuff. LOL Trying to locate what I want. Look what showed up !

They might be sandstone concretions which form in the same way as moqui marbles, just with a different composition.
